Well we've been keeping busy for the last few months! You've seen so far at least one Anime Legends title a month coming out and that's not due to stop anytime soon either!

Relenting slightly in May and June due to the start of our new title line-up for May/June we have The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya coming to the Anime Legends range in May alongside Code Geass R2 Set 1 in June time. With both May and June creeping up on us slowly we thought it'd be a good time to look at the cover art for both releases!

First off the bat is The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Anime Legends set - we're trying a different style of packaging here from the usual Anime Legends sets this time. Instead of a larger box we're trying a 4-DVD amaray this time as they are smaller space wise which means you can get more of them into a shop and they don't take up as much storage space in your collections! This is not going to be a regular trend in 4-DVD releases so if you don't like it make your voice known after and we'll avoid them in future and go for something slightly chunkier. Below is the cover art for the release:

Next up is Code Geass R2 - set 1, which as we discussed will be the first of two parts instead of the four part release seen in the USA. This means you'll get more of the series quicker than before and be able to see the shocking conclusion to Code Geass in record time thankfully - having seen screeners of it already in the office, I was blown away by R2 anyway. Packaging wise the feel and strength of the set is exactly the same as the original series of Code Geass so the DVDs will match nicely - the colour scheme is in line with the original Japanese release too for this one. So without further ado feast your eyes on the first Geass R2 set's artwork:

Due to delays outwith our control Code Geass will now be available in June, but I'm still crossing fingers we'll have some copies ready for sale at London Expo nonetheless!

Both titles are available to order from all good retail outlets just now - including our friends at HMV.co.uk, Forbidden Planet and Play.com! Next up from us will be some news from MCM London Expo and what to expect from us there in May!
