The Aegis Gundam is one
of the four Mobile Suits secretly developed by the Earth
Alliance Forces and subsequently captured by ZAFT Forces.
It is the only Mobile Suit equipped with a transforming
function. It transforms to Mobile Armor Formation in one
second, enabling it to approach and escape with high mobility.
It is ideal for “hit and run” tactics using
the Giant Claws and the Multi-phase Energy Cannon “Scylla”.
However, the exclusive pilot Athrun prefers close-range
attacks to inflict maximum damage on enemies.
